WebP convert with no upload
Most online converters send your images to a server. WebpKit decodes and re-encodes in your browser — image bytes never leave your device for conversion.
Why “no upload” matters
Screenshots, product photos, and documents can include sensitive content. A local converter keeps that off a random upload API.
How to verify
- Open DevTools (F12) → Network.
- Convert a WebP on WebpKit.
- Confirm there is no image POST — only the static page scripts.
What we host
We only serve the static site and libraries. Conversion is client-side. Sample files under /samples/ are public demos, not your uploads.
