Terms of Use
Last updated: 20 October 2026
Agreement
By using WebpKit you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site.
The service
WebpKit provides a free, browser-based utility to convert image formats (including WebP, AVIF, PNG, and JPG) using client-side processing. There is no account, no paid plan, and no advertising on the product UI.
We may change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We aim to keep the core converter available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access.
Your responsibilities
You are responsible for the files you process and for complying with applicable law (including copyright and privacy laws). Do not use WebpKit to process content you are not allowed to handle.
You understand that conversion quality and browser support vary. Very large batches may fail or slow your device due to memory limits.
No warranty
WebpKit is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that conversion will be error-free or suitable for any specific workflow.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SqueezeCodex and contributors are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or business, arising from your use of WebpKit.
Intellectual property
The WebpKit name, site design, and original materials are owned by SqueezeCodex or its licensors. You retain ownership of your own image files; we do not claim rights to content that never leaves your device.
Acceptable use
Do not attempt to disrupt the site, probe infrastructure beyond normal browsing, or misuse the service in a way that harms others. Automated scraping that degrades delivery may be rate-limited by the host.
Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how local processing and hosting logs work. It forms part of how we operate the free utility.
Changes
We may update these Terms. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance.
